friday night, annie and i met these two delightful boys. i can't remember their names but i do remember that they laughed at our jokes. boys never laugh at our jokes. ever. unfortunatley, we were due across town but i have seriously considered writing into craigslist under "missed connections". this is the picture they took of us with my camera:

hopefully they read lame blogs like this one and will track back to us. anyway, yesterday was the most beautiful day i've ever experienced. naturally, i decided to call some folks over for beer and music on the roof.

i am now sitting here, watching inked and i've decided that i want to go las vegas. NOW.

that's what we were promised about jim belushi some 25 laugh free years ago

so i am sitting in my still shit-hole of a house contemplating how it can be 81 degrees tomorrow and 31 on saturday. why why why why. i got home wednesday, took out the trash, opened a cabinet to get a new trash bag out of a cabinet and this happened:

billions and billions of tiny glass pieces AND we have no working oven. so, annie and i decided to clean it up but found that the broom would sweep the tiny glass pieces into our eyes. luckily, we were saved by mary kate olsen and used my enormous sunglasses to protect our eyes.
the rest of the week was uneventful. i drank beer at work. i went to 9:30 to see metric and ISLANDS. my new favorite band.
friday i decided to hit the reef to sit on the roof. and saturday i babysat. yes, i actually babysat. on a saturday night.
this is jacob:

los angeles i'm yours

so i returned from LA to far to much work and the realization that it will never end. i also had a harrowing moment while on myspace today that people actually can tell how often i check their pages. i am an internet junkie, i need my fix.
so LALA land... i got to caroline's on saturday only to realize that i forgot my digital camera. if i had a new years resolution this year it was take more pictures and if you have been with me in the past two months for more than 10 minutes than you know: i never forget my camera. ever. i even bring it to work on the off chance i see something picture worthy. luckily, i partied with the son of the VP of kodak so i got as many free disposal cameras as i could stuff in my alligator clutch. unluckily, i forgot that i had to PAY to get them developed. so, these will have to do.

these are the beautiful people i stayed with & or carted my ass around all week...

and this was at the end of the open bar at pussycat beach. i don't remember it being taken but i'm sure it was fun

yeah, that's it...
so now it's back to real life.
